سیلابلها از نظر لغوی به معنای هجا یا حرف صدادار است. در این پست سعی داریم شما نحوه شمردن سیلابلها را بیاموزید. برای شمارش سیلابلهای یک لغت طبق نکات زیر عمل کنید.

1) هر حرف صدادار در یک کلمه به عنوان یک سیلابل در نظر گرفته می شود.

2) اگر بیش از یک حرف صدادار بصورت متوالی در یک کلمه به کار رود تنها یک سیلابل در نظر گرفته می شود.

3) حرف "e" در پایان کلمات به عنوان سیلابل شمرده نمی شود.

تفاوت و موارد کابرد make و do در زبان انگلیسی use of & difference between do & make in English language

سلام.. این پست رو اختصاص دادم به بیان تفاوت و موارد کاربرد do و make.

فعل make به معنای تولید کردن و خلق کردن به کار می رود، در حالیکه فعل do به معنای اجرا کردن و عمل کردن به کار می رود. یعنی با توجه به معنی جمله باید تشخیص داد که از make یا do استفاده بشه. اگه معنی جمله با فعل تولید و خلق کردن کامل بشه از make و اگه با فعل اجرا و عمل کردن کامل بشه از do استفاده می شه.

این دو فعل در تعدادی از عبارات یافت می شود که در زیر آمده است:

در زبان انگلیسی هنگامی که حرف s به انتهای یک کلمه (فعل یا اسم) اضافه می شود به سه صورت متفاوت تلفظ می شود. لازم به ذکر است که منظور از حرف s در انتهای کلمات هم اضافه کردن s به منظور جمع بستن اسامیاست، هم اضافه کرن s به افعال برای نشان دان سوم شخص مفرد و هم اضافه کردن s مالکیت به اسامی است. این سه روش تلفظ s در انتهای کلمات عبارتند از:

تلفظ s به شکل /iz/

اگر یک کلمه به یکی از صداهای (نه حروف) /c/، /z/, /x/, /s/, /?/, /?/ و یا حروف /ss/ ختم شود s به صورت /iz/(ایز) تلفظ می شود:

تلفظ s به شکل /z/

اگر یک کلمه به یکی از صداهای (نه حروف) /b/, /d/, /g/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /?/, /r/, /v/ یا /y/ ختم شود s به شکل /z/(ز) تلفظ می شود:

m => dreams 

n => rains 

? => belongs 

مخفف ماه های میلادی در زبان انگلیسی:

January  => Jan.

February  => Feb.

March   => Mar.

April  => Apr.

May  => May.

June  => Jun.

July  => Jul.

August  => Aug.

September  => Sep. یا Sept.

October  => Oct.

November  => Nov.

December  => Dec.

چند نکته

§ شکل اختصاری ماه ها همانند شکل کامل شان باید با حرف بزرگ شروع شوند (اولین حرف هر ماه با حرف بزرگ نوشته می شود).

§ اگر از شیوه APA استفاده می کنید ماه های سال نباید به صورت اختصاری (همانند اختصارات فوق) نوشته شوند و باید به صورت کامل نوشته شوند.

§ اگر از شیوه MLA استفاده می کنید اسامی ماه هایی که کلمات سه یا چهار حرفی (May, June و July) هستند نباید به صورت اختصاری نوشته شوند ولی سایر ماه ها به صورت اختصاری نوشته می شوند.
